Install Windows 7 from USB Stick on Asus Eee PC

These are the steps to follow:
- Format 4GB USB Stick with NTFS in Win XP:
- Device Manager: Disk drives: USB Stick: Properties: Check "Optimize for performance"
- Right-click on USB Stick in Explorer: Format with NTFS
- Afterwards, restore USB Stick properties
- Boot Windows XP in VMWare, use Windows7.iso as DVDROM
- Mount USB Stick in VMWare, copy all files from Windows7 DVD onto USB Stick
- Shutdown VMWare
- copy G:\boot\bootsect.exe from USB Stick (G:) onto the Desktop
- Make sure USB Stick (e.g. G:) is not active, copy boot manager onto USB Stick:
bootsect.exe /nt60 G:
- On Eee PC, click F2 during boot to enter BIOS
- Disable Quick Boot and Quiet Boot
- Click F10 to store settings, upon reboot click ESC to enter boot menu
- Select USB Stick to boot from USB
